JL Developments is hosting a virtual session to discuss the subdivision application for the first stage of Cochrane Lake Hamlet’s Neighbourhood C. This follows the approval of the land use amendment (February 2024, January 2025) and the Neighbourhood C Conceptual Scheme (February 2024). Canopy Lands, a division of Schikedanz West, undertook a Conceptual Scheme and Land Use Amendment process for approximately 120 acres within the Cochrane Lake Hamlet area in Rocky View County referred to as ‘Neighbourhood C’. The Conceptual Scheme and Land Use Amendment were approved by Rocky View County Council in February 2024. The Conceptual Scheme document is in alignment with direction provided by the Cochrane Lake Hamlet Plan (2011).
Location
The subject lands are identified within the Cochrane Lake Hamlet Plan as “Neighbourhood C” and are located west of Highway 22 on the south side of Cochrane Lake Road West. A portion of Neighbourhood C lands (~20 acres) will be planned by others at an undetermined time.
